The Essential Training Path for Supervisors
Your department is only as strong as your weakest supervisor.
- You will start your training with our introductory Cornerstone Supervisor Liability course.
- Each month you receive access to a new supervisor level training course.
- Receive a personalized training certificate with included training hours at the end of each training module.
Attorney Eric Daigle and the Daigle Law Group training advisors recommend this program to the following:
- Law Enforcement officers interested in advancing their careers and working towards the skills for a promotion.
- Supervisors and Management staff looking to stay sharp and up to date on technology, trends, and the latest information in the industry.
Any law enforcement professional looking to advance their career can benefit from this program.
Training benefits for all Supervisor and Command Staff include:
- Education on developing clear policies to govern the operations of the department.
- Training on core tasks and scenarios which officers regularly face and, more particularly, training on the department’s policies.
- Fundamentals that are foundational in fostering effective supervision.
Our team is committed to adding additional program benefits as we continue to develop the training.
Why choose this training?
Supervisors must work to ensure that they are not deliberately indifferent to policy violations or unconstitutional conduct. A sergeant who is not holding officers accountable leaves your department susceptible to the imposition of agency liability. Therefore, effective measures to hold supervisors and command staff directly accountable for the quality and effectiveness of their supervision are imperative.
How does training work?
- Your training begins with the Cornerstone Supervisor Liability course on Day #1.
- Each month, you will receive a brand new 1-2 hour training module.
- At the end of the year, you will have accessed and completed 12 monthly training courses.
