Welcome to the Current Trends for Technology training course. This seminar will provide an overview of technology law, focusing on the Expectation of Privacy. The Supreme Court of the United States first established legal standards for this concept back in 1967. However, with the rapid expansion of technology since then, the law has struggled to keep up and provide clear guidance to officers under the Fourth Amendment.
This course will also focus on areas including:
- Fourth Amendment and expectation of privacy
- Impact of evolving technology on legal standards
- Law enforcement guidance in uncertain legal terrain
Our training experts recommend this course for all officers, ranks, and command staff.
