Welcome to the Crowd Management and Public Disorder: Legal training course. This session will review legal standards for law enforcement protest response including time, place, and manner restrictions. Training will also explore the legal definitions of hate speech, threat assessment, and passive resistance.
This course will also focus on areas including:
- Present current legal trends in crowd management
- Identify legal, policy and operational standards associated with crowd management
- Understand the legal standards and Court interpretation on response to First Amendment assembly
