Welcome to the Path of Reasonability training course. There is a constant battle between preparing for and viewing a police event from outcome based and process based views. The trouble is many do not understand the concepts at the outset and even more miss opportunities to appropriately apply these different approaches pre, during and post event. One approach has the opportunity to transform training and analysis. The other is likely to destroy it. Take a short time to consider what each means and where we can develop our people and profession to better.

This course will also focus on areas including:

  • Understand the difference and impact of each approach in policing.
  • Learn how to apply both views before, during, and after incidents.
  • Use process-based reasoning to strengthen professional development and analysis.

Our training experts recommend this course for all officers, ranks, and command staff.
