This course examines the evolving legal landscape surrounding public order, crowd control, and crowd management operations, with a particular focus on developments following the widespread demonstrations and unrest beginning in 2020. Drawing from recent litigation and court decisions, the course explores how constitutional standards, agency policies, and training practices intersect during public order responses. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the legal expectations placed on agencies, the risks associated with outdated or inadequate policies and training, and the importance of aligning public order operations with current legal guidance to reduce liability and improve operational effectiveness.
Our training experts recommend this course for all officers, ranks, and command staff that are responsible for training.
