Welcome the Civil Liability for Supervisors training Course. This course addresses and provides recommendations for developing policies which can limit liability to supervisors and the law enforcement entities. It also focuses on common police practices identified in court rulings and DOJ Consent Decree language, all which in tough economic times can be utilized to maintain liability protection. 

This course will also focus on areas including: 

  • Definition and legal standards for Supervisory Liability. 
  • Understanding the legal duties associated with First line Supervision. 
  • Understanding the legal significance of Deliberate Indifference.
